Building Regulations To satisfy building regulation requirements on all penetrating fire rated compartment walls and floors, SLEEV-IT fire collars have been tested at Warrington Fire Research Centre and the Loss Prevention Council to BS476 Part 20, 1987 and Station D'Essais CTISM 98-E-275 for wall collars and 98-H-27 for floor collars. SLEEV-IT fire collars meet both integrity and installation requirements to this standard for both two and four hours, when surface mounted, cast in and semi-cast into a concrete floor or into a masonry or block work wall. |

|
Installation SLEEV-IT fire collars must be fitted on each side of a wall where both sides are at risk from fire. Penetrations through floors require a SLEEV-IT fire collar fitted to the underside only of each penetration. Non-flammable screws, anchor or cavity fixings must be used to secure SLEEV-IT fire collars to walls and floors. N.B. Data relates to UPVC, polyethylene, polypropylene and ABS plastic pipe only. |
